Yamila is a dynamic global IT executive, board member, public speaker and mentor with 30+ years of leadership experience across multiple IT and Business disciplines.

She started her career in Healthcare as a pioneer of early Managed Healthcare software solutions, including one of the first web-based Electronic Medical Records and E-prescription systems. She has since spent much of her career leading cross-functional/cross-industry global teams and driving innovation at transformational companies including Dell, HP, and Atos. Most recently, Yamila joined the senior IT executive leadership team at Munich Re – one of the world’s leading providers of reinsurance and insurance-related risk solutions.

Yamila is very passionate about leading organizational change and technology transformation. Most importantly, doing so with an unrelenting focus on user experience, developing a culture of innovation, and cultivating and empowering diverse teams.

Her leadership has earned her numerous accolades including 8 consecutive HITEC 100 Awards, 2021 HITEC Member of the Year, 2020 Great Minds in STEM Luminary Award and the 2020 Stetson University Business School Foundation Ted Surynt Leadership Award.

In addition to her DEI involvement within Munich Re, Yamila is a member of the Hispanic Technology Executive Council (HITEC) Board of Directors, an active HITEC Emerging Executive Program mentor and a guest lecturer at multiple universities. She enjoys speaking at university and industry events, and is often asked to share her expertise on leadership, organizational change management, negotiations and influencing, social intelligence, user experience and technology related topics.

On a personal note, Yamila loves drawing, writing children’s stories, ballroom dancing, running, traveling, learn new languages, all things Star Wars and Disney, and above all, spending time with her family.

She is known to leverage technology to increase revenue and sustainability for iconic global brands like Smithfield, Pepsi, Heinz, and Kraft. She pairs strategy and implementation to streamline core businesses and propel innovation and profitability. Julia has a long history of efficient ERP and SAP deployment and has won multiple awards for her leadership, including for her work.

Julia joined SIM in 2000 after completing the Regional Leadership Forum (RLF) in Boston MA. Julia has been a member of the Advanced Practices Council (APC) since 2006. Julia currently serves on the finance committee and as the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Chair for SIM National. She has been a member of the SIM Fairfield Westchester Chapter and previously served on the chapter board.

Douglas is a global technology executive and board director who drives customer solutions and business performance through digital transformations, AI, cyber security resiliency, P&L leadership, and governance expertise. Douglas is an insightful executive with over 35 years of senior management and executive level experience at Deloitte, Lockheed Martin, and IBM. Douglas’s expertise within Fortune 100 companies spans across professional services, healthcare, logistics, manufacturing, transportation, and aero-space defense industries.

Currently he is the CEO of RisingTide Coaching and Consulting LLC, providing leadership coaching and technology consulting to clients. He created RisingTide to strengthen his client’s self-awareness and to help them achieve a higher level of impact in their lives. Douglas is an experienced executive that understands the importance of investing in people, creating healthy cultures and developing leaders that motivate and inspire others.

As a partner at Deloitte, Douglas leveraged his P&L client facing and governance experience to lead a $150M global finance and talent transformation. He has led organizations of 2K+ employees, was responsible for $500M technology budgets, and managed a $200M annual P&L business.

He is a member of NACD, a Deloitte CIO Fellow, an industry keynote speaker, presents at conferences and various C-Suite meetings to help advance their business priorities.

He chairs the strategy and growth committee for Platinum Technologies, a privately held company, is a board member for the Innocent Lives Foundation, and served as two-term board chairman for the Information Technology Senior Management Forum.

Anjana has more than 25+ years of experience as Global Chief Information Officer and as a Technology Executive at several companies including Fresenius Medical Care, Hillrom, Shire Human Genetic Therapies and Novartis. She is a strategic leader with broad business knowledge and deep technical expertise, focused on improving business outcomes through digital strategies. Anjana has had the opportunity to take on some tough challenges and successfully drive large scale business transformations throughout her career journey. She is known for being a change catalyst with a penchant for inspiring, motivating and coaching teams to achieve uncommon results. Anjana strongly believes that information is a strategic asset that should be leveraged as a competitive differentiator. Anjana has an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. She also holds a B.S. in Computer Science Engineering from Bangalore University, India.

Marny is an author, speaker, consultant and coach with more than 30 years of experience. She is a nationally recognized expert on strategic networking, personal branding, professional relationships and communication.
